artifacts were submitted by Richard J. Sclafani in honor and memory of
his
father, Timberwolf Pfc. Dominic J. Sclafani, Company L, 415th Infantry
Regiment. - (Page 1 of 2)
- This is a 3 page letter to Mrs.
Loretta Kroll Sclafani from Pvt. Albert
Mishkin
explaining the friendship between the two soldiers, the hardships they
endured, and finally the eye witness account of the mortal wound
suffered by Dominic J. Sclafani. Private Sclafani ultimately
received the Bronze Star.

Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. His body was later moved to Calvary Cemetary,
Woodside, Queens, New York.
