*07/29/06 -  "Robert,
My name is Robert Simmons and I'm writing to ask if I could add some of my grandfather's photographs he had of the 104th Infantry.  He was in the 415th (Regiment), Co.D.  I only have about eight photos, five with him in them.  If you could write me back at your earliest convience, I would appreciate it.  Thank you!
Sincerely,
Rob Simmons"

*07/30/06 -  "I hope the photos will help others identify loved ones. Some of the pics have no names. I don't know if you know who my grandfather was. He was Staff Sargeant Robert E. Smith from Staatsburg, New York, Co.D, 415th Infantry. " -  Rob simmons
